The secret to a good night's sleep
When I was in college, my roommate and I both struggled with anxiety, and I remember we weren't very good sleepers. One evening, my friend and I sat in on a lecture by a Tibetan monk. My friend was extremely impressed by the monk.
- I wish I could be like that. I will always remember this man," he said.
I was also inspired by the monk's insight into life, and he broadened my narrow vision.
- I think I will never be like him, I said.
Years later, I met my friend again. He was still a bad sleeper and asked me:
- I'm still a bad sleeper, are you?
