Weekly horoscope forecast (4 September - 10 September)
Venus, the planet of Relationships and Sociality, moves forward after being in retrograde since mid-to-late July. Given that it's in quadrature with the perspective planets of Taurus, and currently in the middle of Leo, this won't mean that we'll drop our underwear and find the right one, five at once.
Still, after the more spiky and impersonal energies of the past few months, it at least gives a signal that others exist, and there's more scope for some fun and relaxation.
In the middle of Virgo, the Sun and retrograde Mercury come into conjunction, which on the flip side is just the thing to make the more gritty and impersonal energies even stronger for a few days.
You could say that everything remains almost the same, yet it's as if it's happening at a higher octave.
From Tuesday the 5th, the Moon will be in Taurus, in auspicious planetary alignment, and will be in spring-summer territory throughout the week. We can take a breather in emotional, human, family matters; not that the past weeks and months have been so much about drama in general.
On Wednesday the 6th, Jupiter, the planet of Faith, Hope, Abundance, begins retrograde motion. Before we translate that as all is lost and from here comes misery, that's probably not what will happen. Rather, it will prolong the drab, basically dusty, dullness of this year. From here on in, all the outer-rate planets are in retrograde motion, which will take our attention mainly inwards. However, as the Virgo and Taurus natures dominate this year, this spiritual theme will not be too intense, and may bring in a little more spiritual motivation and practice alongside, or in addition to, our existing activities.
On Thursday the 7th, the Sun and retrograde Mercury will be exactly in the center of Virgo, while they are in the aspect of retrograde Jupiter. Because of this, some old business may come up at once in this area, mixed with new directions. Multi-task here and move forward with the arrangements.
9-10, Saturday-Sunday the Moon will be in her own sign, Cancer, so spend the weekend meeting family and people you trust. Spend time relaxing, talking with others, recharging softly. Complemented by the Mars-Venus sextile that starts on Saturday, these are good days for any nesting, home-making.
